Labor Day Weekend and a 3 month old Salem!

We had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend. We spent most of the weekend at Mom and Dad's.  We had pool time and ate waaaaay too much good food.  We're definitely going to miss being able to go over there to enjoy the lake and spend time with Poppy and Sitti. Uncle Carlos spent Saturday with us. I have to say that Avery is in love with her Uncle! It is the cutest thing.  Salem has a thing for him too. It was amazing being with Carlos, but we missed Amy.  She wasn't feeling well and Avery had the sniffles, so we didn't get to be with her.  Please keep Amy in your thoughts and prayers.
Salem is doing well.  It blows my mind that he is already 3 months old!  He's starting to reach for toys more and touch our faces.  He has some tickle spots that make him laugh.  He has a hearty man laugh-so funny.
Avery is adjusting to preschool. She is pretty attached to her teacher and says that she is her best friend at school.  We already know the name of the bully in her class.  He pushed her down on the playground and made her cry.  We asked her why he pushed her and she said because he was mad.  Princess did tell us that she threw a toy on the ground and got in trouble.  I'm loving the honesty!

Sibling Love- the placement of Avery's left hand is just a little unfortunate.

Cassie, just don't blink---because if you do, Avery and Salem will be 3 and 1, then 6 and 4, then 12 and 10. I'm already cringing at the thought of my boys leaving me for their wives! Can you believe how quickly it goes? I know I can't! Enjoy every moment!
