Preschool Spaghetti Supper and House Progress

Avery's preschool put on a spaghetti supper to raise money for the playground and classrooms.  It was a huge success.  It was held in the church gym and was so crowded that some people had to sit in the bleachers. The little kids were the entertainment for the evening.  Each age group sang one to two songs.  We've been practicing with Avery in the hopes that she might actually sing when she got up on stage.  She did pretty good. You can see some humorous moments in the video below.
Tim was working in our new town again this week and took some pics of the house. It's coming along.  They say all of the framing goes quickly and then it really slows down.  They are still talking about February as the approximate finish date. There are already several more houses going up around us.  I hope we get some nice neighbors :).

Our neighbor's foundation going up.  We got pretty lucky with the placement.  A lot of the houses in the area are much closer together than this.  The lot on the other side of us hasn't sold yet, so we we"ll see how much space we'll have.

Pumpkins!!

We took the kids to a pumpkin patch this weekend. They were really cute in their outfits that Mom gave them.  Avery had a hard time settling on a pumpkin, but finally found the perfect one.  After the pumpkin patch, Tim left for a tennis tournament.  I was single momming it for a few days. We got to go to our friend Elizabeth's for a pumpkin carving party.  It was a lot of fun. There were tons of kids. We hung out with Elizabeth's sister, who I haven't seen in forever! I did bring a pumpkin but it never got carved.  I had my hands full with the little ones. We'll get it done before Halloween.  Elizabeth was such a wonderful host and made the best chili's and soups for dinner. Yummy!

Ode to Gina

We we had just gotten back from the wedding and Avery's nap and sleep schedules were all messed up.  She was exhausted and a little punchy.  She started randomly singing this and laughing really really hard.  By the time we got her on video, she was a little more subdued but still funny.  It is an ode to Gina due to a story my mom has told a hundred times about her.  I will not divulge the details ;)

Ken's Wedding

My brother's childhood buddy got married this weekend.  It was a lovely ceremony and reception.  The kids were invited and did pretty good.  I was very proud of them during the ceremony.  They didn't make a peep :).  We had to leave the reception a little early, but still had a wonderful time being with everyone.  Congrats Ken and Heather!!
The wedding was in our new home town.  We had a little time and went by the lot to see how everything was progressing.  Wow! It is starting to look like a house!  It's becoming more real that we are moving soon.  Now we just have to sell our house here.  Say some prayers for us...
