Halloween, Gamecocks, and the Park

Hey everyone.  It has been a while since I've posted. Time has been flying buy. Avery is saying a lot of cute words now. Her newest ones are "bubble", "Elmo", and "knee".  She had her 18 month doctor's appointment today and everything looked great. We were hoping she would hit the 20 lb mark and she hit... 19.4 in the 1.03 percentile.  We just have a little squirt.  Avery got her last shots until her 4 year old appointment. Yay!! So glad to be done with that for a while.  The Princess is just full of energy and running around like crazy. It's exhausting, but fun :).
Let's see...Halloween was good. We went to Boo at the Zoo with Grancy. We saw a billion people we knew and of course I was not looking so cute. Isn't that how it always is? Anyway, we had a good time. Avery loved looking at all the lights and the people. Halloween night we just answered the door with our little piggy and handed out some yummy candy.
Tim and I went to our first Carolina game in a very long time.  Katie and Jason invited us and we had the best time. They have amazing seats (as seen in the photos) and the Cocks won. All in all a wonderful day. I even learned how to play Cornhole :). Oh, and by the way Go Cocks!! We beat Florida Saturday to go to the SEC Championship!  Tim and I bought tickets and we'll be Atlanta bound for the game. I can't wait!
I got some pictures of Avery at the local park. It's right near the Sinclair's house, so we got to meet up with Nancy.  It has one of the nicer playgrounds in town. They even have itty bitty slides for teeny girls and baby swings. Avery is still enamored with leaves and found a stick friend to carry around the whole time. She's so funny.
Finally, we have some wonderful news.  Most of you already know, but Avery is going to be a big sister! We are due in June and we're really excited. I 'm having the same nausea that I had with Avery, but hopefully it will go away soon. Keep your fingers crossed.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week and cocka doodle doo!

Ray Tanner 5K & Bella Grace's 1st Birthday

Fall is here! Ah. I love this weather. We've been getting to do a lot more outside. We've been going to parks with friends. If only I could keep Avery from making a bee line to the rubbish on the ground. She  really likes the swings, though.  She's so cute swinging back and forth with her little legs hanging out. I'll have to take some pics next time we go.
Tim and I ran the Ray Tanner 5K race this weekend. It was really great. I was a little worried about my husband at first. He's never run 3.1 miles. However, he's in great shape from tennis and he did awesome. We finished in under 29 minutes and got to run across home plate. We also met a famous television star pictured below.
Our cousin, Bella Grace, celebrated her first birthday. She had the most amazing party thrown by Katie and Jason. They had a clown, face painting, balloon animals, and a caramel apple making station. It felt like a upscale carnival. Oh, and it was a costume party. Everyone looked great. The kids were so cute dressed up.   It's just so hard to believe that the other little princess is a year old! Sigh.
Avery has been doing well. She's talking a lot more- up, yes, book, car.  She also can full out run now. It's pretty scary how fast she is. She has figured out how cute she is and knows how to get her way. Help us all! We know who the boss of the house is.  Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Check out the awesome cake. The bottom was all cupcakes and then Bella Graces cake on top.
And Jason, Katie and Bella Grace were dressed up as the Shrek family. It was really cute.
Sorry Katie, I had to. She's just so happy all the time, but she wasn't very thrilled to be in her  high chair right then .

Birthdays and The Walk For Life

We've had a lot of fun these past few weeks. First, we celebrated cousin Cooper's 21st birthday at an ale house.  The food was really good and the company even better. My aunt Connie has to be the sweetest person on the planet.  Happy belated birthday to Cooper!
Tim also had a birthday. He's finally my age ;).  We celebrated his birthday with the Sinclairs at a yummy pizza and grinder place.  Avery kept Sutton running around the restaurant. I know he had to be exhausted. Later that night, my parents babysat so that Tim and I could have a date night. We went to our favorite restaurant downtown. Words cannot describe.  Mmm.  I also made Tim a carrot cake, so we ate dessert at home.
The family went out to support Aunt Amy in a Walk for Life breast cancer event.  There were a ton of people there. It was really uplifting to see everyone join together for such an important cause. By the way, Amy is doing well. She's back at work and looks as beautiful as ever.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week and beat 'Bama!!
