July 4th, Zoo, Broken Leg #2

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. We spent some wonderful time with friends and family.  We took the kids to the local zoo.  Salem hadn't been since he was 6 months old and he loved it this time.  The following weekend we celebrated my brother's birthday and Ma's birthday.  That Sunday we arrived home and went to an awesome block party. The food was great and we met some really nice new neighbors.  At the very end of the party, Salem broke his leg going down a slide in his Daddy's lap.  Therefore, our night ended up with a trip to the emergency room.  He broke the opposite leg from the one over Christmas time.  This fracture was still the tibia, but lower down.  Please Lord help me with this boy as he grows up! I know he will give me gray hairs.  Tim's tennis team made it to sectionals this season. He was in Alabama for 4 days and we missed him so much!  You got to love Face Time, though. We are signing up the kids for all of their fall activities. Avery will be trying soccer this season as well as continuing with dance and starting 'real' gymnastics. We're holding off on 2k preschool with Salem since he would only have it on my days off.  Instead, he is continuing with Little Gym, Kindermusic, and Storytime at the library (I'm thinking about wrapping his extremities in bubble wrap for all of the above).
