Avery's 1 Month Old!!

Alright,  so I now get when people say their kids grow up so fast.  It feels like it's been a couple of weeks since we've been home from the hospital. Not a whole month! Avery is starting to follow the rattles with her eyes now (not nearly as many crossed-eye episodes) & she is beginning to enjoy the play gym.  She also is starting to coo for us. It's so sweet!

Friday was our 5th wedding anniversary so Tim's parents kept Avery while we went out to our first dinner in a month.  It was weird being away from our little girl, but it was a short outing. And I must say, it was so nice to have a glass of wine and a good meal. Ahh. Just thinking about it makes me relax. It was also nice not to smell like baby poo & spit up. Mom & Dad came over and I was able to take a real shower & even dry my hair.  It's amazing the little things you have to give up when you have a newborn.
