Avery's 5th Bday, Dance Recital, Concert at the Park, Sawyer's Baptism

Phew, I'm running behind on my blogging.  Aren't summers always crazy busy?  May was a wonderful month. Avery turned 5(!!), finished up 4k, and had her dance recital.  Baby Sawyer was baptized in the church in a beautiful ceremony.  We had a great time with our friends and neighbors at the annual Concert at the Park. Oh, and had family pool fun on Memorial Day. The kids have started their summer camps and are having a great summer so far.  Here's to more summer fun!

Pink Lemonade and picnic lunch food.  I had cute decorations, but the gale force winds put a stop to that :/.  The wind even blew over the cupcakes and stand!
The kids didn't know the difference :)
The kids about stampeded the ponies when they arrived.  They were so excited.

The local farm had some beautiful strawberries this year.
We were on a mission to get a good amount to make organic strawberry jam.  We succeeded :).

Our new church on the island
We've been members of a catholic club on the island for the past 2 years.  We are so blessed to finally have a priest! Our church has formed and we hope to break ground on our building soon.
Sweet Campbell and Salem
I was able to visit with my friend Alison and her sweet girl in May. It was wonderful to see her and help take her mind off of her worries for a bit. They were in town to support her sister through her illness.  Please pray for Alison's sister and her family.

Sawyer is wearing Salem's swim suit from when he was a baby. Love this!

Easter '14, Tennis, and Dance Competition

Easter this year was wonderful. We had the neighborhood easter egg hunt. Salem was nervous around the Easter Bunny, but was able to stay clear of him and get his eggs.  Avery did her best to get her eggs among the older age group this year. They had a cookie making station and other games.  The kids had a blast.  Tim also got confirmed in the church on Easter Vigil.  I'm so proud of him!
Tim and I had our annual tennis tournament date night. Jankovic played a young american.  Thanks to Tim's tennis buddies for box seats.  It was amazing to watch.  It'll be so much fun to take the kids to some of the night matches when their older.
Avery is on a pre-competition dance team. They just do one competition this season to get a taste of what it is like.  Of course, princess loved being on stage and really enjoyed being with her dance buddies for the weekend. It will be interesting to see if she takes to competitive dancing like I did. Right now, she adores it. However, she loves doing everything! Time will tell...
