Is it really November already? Man has the year flown. The kids are great. Avery is still loving school. She's learning to write her letters and makes works of art for us. She received all but one (+) on her Fall Skills report. She got a 'w' (working on) for sitting attentatively at circle time-but hey, she's 3. We're so proud of our little princess. Salem is really starting to copy his older sister. It's cute...most of the time. He tries to put on his shoes by himself, he comes his hair, and he even plays dress up with his sister. Some new words: thank you, again, enough, love you. He can say most of his friends names at Little Gym. He struggles with s's, so Salem is 'Alem' for now. His favorite thing to do is dance with his sister. He mostly bends his knees and shakes his head. I'll have to get them on video.
A few weekends ago, our cousin Bella Grace had her 3 y.o. birthday party. It was wonderful seeing everyone. The kids had the best time, especially Avery. Pink Disney Princess bounce castle-enough said.
We visited a pumpkin patch before Halloween. Avery picked out a nice pumpkin and named it Henry. At first she didnt want us carving him, but she eventually came around. She had a great time cleaning out all of the 'guts'. Avery's preschool put on a Halloween recital last week. She was very excited to wear a costume to school. They did several songs and then had a party with yummy snacks. Lastly, we took the kids trick or treating in our new neighborhood. It was a great opportunity to meet some new neighbors and the kids had a blast.
A new park opened up in our area and there was a big festival to celebrate. There was great food and activities for the kids. Were are so blessed to live where there are so many things to do with families!
Congrats to Tim on all of his tennis teams' wins. His combo team just won state and his mixed team won sectionals. His mixed team is headed to nationals this weekend!
