Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged. We're doing great, though. Avery is continuing to love her gym class and making some friends at the playgrounds. We met a little boy this weekend that Avery really liked. They are a little over a month apart in age and he is the cutest. He also has a little sister the same age as Salem. They have a lot in common- first boyfriend perhaps?? Salem is getting much more talkative. He is saying Ma Ma and doing a lot of goo gaa sounds. He is starting to laugh when Avery does something silly. It's really sweet. Avery loves to make her little brother laugh.
A few weekends ago, we got to hang out with my Aunt Genie for her birthday. Mom and Dad celebrated with them at a fab restaurant for dinner and we joined them for lunch the next day. We also got to see my cousin Jaime who lives down here. He has become quite the contractor. He's been renovating his home with a roommate. I can't wait to see it!
Two weekends ago, we went to our friends Grant and Becca's wedding shower. It was a really great wine and cheese party. It was at Pretty Susan's house. That house is amazing! It looks like something straight out of 'Traditional Home' or 'Veranda'. I forgot my camera, so no pics :(. We're so looking forward to the wedding!
This past weekend, Aunt Shaunna came to visit. Her birthday is the end of this week, so we celebrated a little early. We had the best time hanging out with the fam and having some girl time. We went to a fabulous restaurant with a roof top bar. The food was amazing as usual. I also dragged Shaunna around to some furniture stores. She was a champ. I think she ended up finding more stuff than I did ;).
Alright, back to the Super Bowl (that was said without much excitement).
